Jazz at the Bechtler

Jazz at the Bechtler

Petite powerhouse vocalist Toni Tupponce joins the Ziad Jazz Quartet for the annual Jazz for Lovers concerts February 7.

Bring your sweetie (or find a sweetie here) and celebrate Valentine's Day with jazzy love songs. Things are bound to get heated as Tupponce, voted “sexiest voice in Charlotte” by Charlotte magazine in 2006, croons romantic tunes. Song selections include A Sunday Kind of Love, Lover Man (Oh, Where Can You Be?), Send in the Clowns and For All We Know.

Concerts are performed at 6 and 8:15 p.m. Each concert is performed without an intermission in the museum lobby.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. for the 6 p.m. show and at 7:45 for the 8:15 show. Seating is first come, first served. Standing room only is available after all seats are claimed.

Food and Drink

Appetizers from e2 emeril’s eatery are sold before and during the concert. The cash bar offers beer, wine and select liquor.

Jazz at the Bechtler attendees who visit e2 emeril's eatery before or after the concert are eligible for the restaurant's "3 for $30" three course pre fixe menu. Ask server for details.

The 6 P.M. and 8:15 P.M. CONCERTS ARE SOLD OUT.

Concertgoers receive discounted parking in the Levine Center for the Arts garage. Bring ticket in for validation.
