Considered one of the founders of both Minimalism and Conceptual Art, the American exhibition artist Sol LeWitt (1908–2007) is primarily known for his deceptively simple geometric structures and architecturally scaled wall drawings. Inspired by the exhibition Sol LeWitt: All Ideas Art Art, the pairing of Russian composer Andrew Popoff's cool and minimalistic style, Estonian composer of classical and religious music Arvo Päert's clean lines, Soviet Kazakh composer and pedagogue Gaziza Zhubanova's calm harmonies, and American composer Terrence Riley's innovative use of repetition, tape music techniques, and delay systems are a perfect match for this unique exhibition and performance.
