TAKE AN "ARTBREAK" AND TOUR A MUSEUM DURING LUNCHTIME

If you work, live or visit uptown, you can enjoy ArtBreak, a series of lunchtime docent-led museum tours for free at any of the three Levine Center for the Arts institutions - the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art, the Mint Museum and the Harvey B. Gantt Center for African-American Arts + Culture. Whether it's an introductory experience for a first-time visitor or a deeper cultural experience for those already familiar with Levine Center for the Arts institutions, the tours will provide a brief but focused encounter with art for people who have a limited amount of time - and you'll still have time to grab lunch.

Visitors will experience a tour structured around a common theme featuring art works from the permanent collections or special exhibitions on view. Each theme lasts for three months - enough to experience the same theme at all three institutions!

Support is provided by the THRIVE Fund, established to provide financial stability to Charlotte’s cultural sector and currently administered by Foundation For The Carolinas.
