The Bechtler Museum of Modern Art is located in Center City Charlotte just blocks from I-77 and I-277 between Stonewall Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard at Levine Center for the Arts. The Bechtler is joined at the center by the Knight Theater, the Mint Museum Uptown and the Harvey B. Gantt Center for African-American Arts + Culture.

PARKING
Parking garages, surface lots and metered spaces are available near the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art.
Discounted museum parking is provided at the Levine Center for the Arts garage, located below the Duke Energy Center at 550 South Tryon Street.
Museum visitors who use the Levine Center for the Arts garage will receive a $5 parking validation coupon at the admission desk. Visitors must use the coupon ticket along with their original parking ticket upon exit of the garage to receive the discount.
To arrive at the museum from the Levine Center for the Arts parking garage, use the Plaza Elevators (not the Tower Elevators) and press level P. Exit to the left and the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art is across the street.
Note: The Levine Center for the Arts parking garage charges a premium rate for Carolina Panthers game-day parking (as well as for NCAA and ACC football and World Cup soccer games). Bechtler Museum of Modern Art visitors are exempt from the charge as long as they inform the attendant upon entering the garage. Museum visitors will be subject to pay the discounted cultural facility parking rate.
PUBLIC TRANSPORATION
Charlotte Area Transit System bus routes 2, 16, 18 and 19 stop within walking distance of the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art.
The nearest LYNX Light Rail stop to the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art is the 3rd Street Station at the Charlotte Convention Center.
